something worth thinking about...
so, as i laid awake in bed last night evaluating life's situations for both myself and some of my friends who i have talked to lately, i had a revelation. i'm sure i knew this before, but the reminder was healthy....
life is all about attitude! we have all been dealt a different lot in life... it's not always easy, but we're never alone. I've been so impressed by some people who i have seen have been through the mill and back, and have stayed calm though it all and still carry a smile on their face and joy in their hearts. i wanna be like that! what do we have to complain about, really? is it worth all the stress that's stealing our happiness? i honestly believe that no matter the situation, our response and our attitude is our choice. Personally, i'd rather smile and enjoy the ride wherever it's taking me than be consumed by grief.
This is my challenge to you... don't sweat it! Choose your attitude. And for goodness sake, LAUGH! : )

OK, so it's my monthly alumni newsletter, but I always figured there might be some use to getting spammed by my own Uni every month. Maybe it'll help in the job search, maybe not, but I wanted to share it with ya...
Oh, by the way: I'M GOING TO ITALY!!! Going to ESA, specifically ESRIN, in Frascati just outside of Rome at the end of the month. Yah, of course I'll take my camera, and will send you some pics. By then I hope to have a permament Pbase account.
